Hygge has worked with US companies since 2019. The commitments below hold on every project, from a first build to a system that has run in production for years. Documentation Written for the Next Engineer
Architecture decisions, environment setup and deployment are written for somebody who was never in the room. Onboarding a new developer becomes an afternoon of reading, which protects the value of the product long after the build.

How Hygge Got Here, and Where It Is Going
Seven years of client work, and what it changed about the cost of building software.
2027
Hygge plans to open Paper to other companies. Today a business with no engineering team of its own waits years and pays enterprise money for a serious product. The goal is to bring that same product down to weeks or months, at a price a mid-sized company can sign off, and to let any company use the same environment to automate its own work.
2026
Every Hygge project now runs inside Paper. AI gives the speed, Paper gives the control, and together they let a small team build systems that used to need a large one. The client sees this in two places. A build costs less than it would have two years ago, and a working version arrives to click through roughly every week.
2025
Two systems went live. AI recognition running on hardware inside vehicles used by law enforcement, and a new control interface for an autonomous warehouse, rebuilt screen by screen while every site stayed open. In the same year Hygge finished its own development environment, called Paper. Paper holds the whole project in view while an engineer works with AI, so what the AI writes fits the system that already exists.
2024
A learning platform that had grown for ten years was rebuilt into separate services and moved to modern cloud. Its enterprise customers kept working through the whole migration and never saw a maintenance page.
2023
Two clients passed their second year with Hygge and asked for a second product each. One was a property platform, the other a creative technology agency. Both extensions ran on the architecture chosen at the start.
2019
Hygge took on its first long-running client and built a learning platform from nothing. That project is still active. It has been through a full rebrand, a production AI layer, and native apps on four platforms.
