How We Tied Stripe Subscriptions to Access for Data Vizioner
Data Vizioner sells its Power BI platform by subscription. There is a free plan, paid plans with a 7-day trial, extra users and add-ons. Every change in a plan has to reach the customer's access. A customer charged for a feature they cannot open, or using one they no longer pay for, costs the vendor money and trust. The vendor also wanted Power BI statistics on its site, and Power BI output is built for analysts. Hygge engineers built two modules inside the client's product. One runs subscriptions on Stripe, and the other manages users. Access now follows the subscription. We also shaped the Power BI numbers for the customers who read them.

Where Subscriptions Drift Away From Access
Billing is rarely what a software vendor sells. It still decides whether customers get what they paid for.
Plans, Upgrades and Failed Payments
Every change in a customer's subscription has to reach their access without manual work.
Access Out of Step With Billing
A customer charged by mistake or locked out of a paid feature costs the vendor money and trust.
Statistics Shaped for Analysts
Numbers pulled from Power BI arrive in a form built for specialists.
Manual Account Management
Selling, granting and taking back access is spread across several people's tasks.
The Challenge
Data Vizioner's product documents and audits Power BI models. Selling it by subscription brings plans, trials, extra users, add-ons, upgrades and failed payments. Each of those has to stay in step with what a customer pays. Today the platform has a free plan and paid plans with a 7-day trial. Extra users and add-ons sit on top, and all of it is billed through Stripe. The vendor also wanted to show Power BI statistics on its site. Power BI output is shaped for analysts. The customers on the page needed numbers they could read at a glance.
A Power BI platform that needed the commercial half of a software business built around its product.
Our Solution
Hygge engineers built subscription management on Stripe and a user management module next to it. Access follows the subscription without manual fixes. For statistics, the team kept Power BI as the engine and designed how the numbers appear on the site. Customers see the part they need. The work was done in React and Node.js, as modules inside the client's existing product. The data intelligence platform itself is Data Vizioner's own.
Subscription, user management and statistics modules built into the client's website.
