Drilling Management Software for Swedish Pile Contractors
Every morning, a drilling contractor decides which rigs, crews and tools go to which site. Most of it happens by phone. On site, instructions are thin and often out of date, so workers call colleagues to check. Rigs and consumables move between warehouses and sites, and their location is a guess. Reporting is manual and regulated. The client, a Swedish platform built by drillers, wanted all of it in one place. Hygge built a web platform for the office and a mobile app for the crew. Each pile is recorded once on site, and the office sees the same record.

How Many Calls Does One Day on Site Take?
If your crews and office coordinate by phone, we start with a map of one working day. You get a proposal with the scope, team, timeline and cost.
Where Site Coordination Runs on Phone Calls
In this industry, coordination runs on calls. The cost shows up when something slips.
Daily Planning by Phone
Each morning someone assigns machines, crews and tools for every site. Slips surface only when someone calls.
Thin Instructions on Site
Workers check details with colleagues because their instructions are often out of date.
Equipment in the Wrong Place
Rigs, containers and consumables move between warehouses and sites, and their location is a guess.
Manual, Regulated Reporting
Paperwork is slow, manual and subject to regulation.
No View of Progress
Whether a day is going to plan stays guesswork until the report arrives.
The Challenge
A drilling contractor decides every morning how much machinery each job needs. Someone spreads crews across sites and checks that the right tools are where they should be. On site, instructions are thin and often out of date. Workers check details with colleagues, and the office cannot tell whether the day is on plan. Underneath sits reporting, which in this industry is slow, manual and regulated. The platform also had to serve several contractors at once and keep each one's data apart.
Crews, rigs and paperwork coordinated mostly by phone, across several sites at once.
Our Solution
Each drilling company is a tenant with its own data, users, roles and permissions. In the office, a project is set up on the site map. The pile plan comes in from a CSV file or is drawn on the site PDF. Question blocks define what the crew records for each pile, and machines and crews are assigned. In the field, the worker picks a drill rig in the mobile app and records piles as they go in. Each record holds status, depth, length, material, stop-hit data, timestamps and photos. Values save on their own and sync when the connection allows. Equipment is tracked down to warehouse rack and shelf and scanned by NFC tag. Hygge built the platform on a MACH architecture and keeps developing it under a support package.
A multi-tenant web platform for the office and a synced mobile app for the field.
How the Drilling Management Software Solves It
Each card answers one problem above.
Jobs Planned on the Site Map
Machines and crews are assigned per project in the office, where everyone can see them.
Question Blocks for Each Pile
The office sets what the crew records, so the instructions travel with the job.
Equipment Scanned by NFC
Every rig, container and consumable is tracked down to rack and shelf.
Reports From Pile Records
Reports and time per rig come from the records the crew already makes.
Progress as Piles Go In
Pile records reach the office as they sync, so the day's progress is visible.
What Hygge Built
The office and the crew work from the same records, each through the screen that suits them.
Projects on the Site Map
Pile plans imported from CSV or drawn on the site PDF, with machines and crews assigned per job.
Pile Records From the Field
Status, depth, length, material, stop-hit data, timestamps and photos captured as each pile goes in.
Time From the Work Itself
Time comes from pile records, so contractors see real time per pile, per rig and per project.
Equipment Inventory With NFC
Assets, containers and consumables tracked down to rack and shelf and scanned in the mobile app.
Multi-Tenant by Design
Each contractor has its own data, users, roles and permissions on one platform.
Swedish and English
The interface speaks both languages, for the crews and for the client's own customers.
What Runs Without Anyone Pressing a Button
Once the crew starts on a pile, the record does the rest.
Values Save as They Change
The mobile app saves each value the moment the crew enters it.
Records Sync When Signal Returns
Pile records reach the office as soon as the connection allows.
Progress and Time Add Up
Progress bars, reports and time per rig update from the same records. Finished projects are archived with their history.
