Bids stay hidden until the round closes, so a facility compares price and fit, and a newer agency gets the same shot. Facilities, agencies and independent nurses each sign up through their own flow.

Three Sides With Different Needs
Facilities, agencies and independent nurses each need different things from the others. One sign-up form could not serve them all.
The Challenge
Staffing prices were opaque, and that favored incumbents. An agency with a relationship won work others never saw, and rural facilities paid what their one agency asked. The founder wanted anonymous bidding as the core of the product, and nothing on the market offered it. The closest platforms split staffing and housing apart. Yet both decide whether a travel nurse stays.
The bidding engine also had to carry the AI matching layer later, so it could not be an add-on.
Our Solution
We built the sealed bidding engine as its own component and assembled the marketplace around it. Bids are collected anonymously and revealed when the round closes. Two steps give both sides a set moment to act. Sign-up splits by role from the first screen. A facility, an agency and an independent nurse each go through a flow that asks only for what they must provide.
Midway we saw that a full testing cycle did not fit the budget. We told the founder right away and laid out the options.
