Sickstadium: AI Video Clipping for the Twenty Seconds Worth Posting
Matches, episodes and interviews run for hours. The moment worth posting lasts twenty seconds, and someone still scrubs the timeline to find it. Tools that cut on volume spikes ignore what the editor is looking for. Sickstadium wanted editors to describe a moment in words and get back clips they can trust. Hygge took it from first call to a working MVP in about two months. The editor writes prompts, the AI scans the footage, and ranked vertical clips come back to keep, score and export. A slider lets the editor decide how strict the matching is.

Would Your Editors Trust a Clip the AI Picked Alone?
If your team scrubs long video for short clips, we start with what your editors look for. You get a proposal with the scope, team, timeline and cost.
Where Clipping Long Video Eats the Day
Finding the twenty seconds worth posting still means someone scrubbing a timeline.
Hours of Footage per Clip
Matches, episodes and interviews run for hours, and the moment worth posting lasts seconds.
Crude Automatic Cuts
Tools that cut on volume spikes or scene changes ignore what the editor is looking for.
Confident Wrong Answers
An AI that returns the wrong clip with certainty costs more time than it saves.
Processing Takes Minutes
A silent wait of several minutes reads as a broken page.
Review Has to Be Fast
Editors need to keep or drop each candidate in seconds, often from a phone.
The Challenge
The client wanted editors to describe a moment in words and let the system find it. That needed real video upload, processing that takes minutes, and a review screen where a person keeps or drops each candidate fast. The product also had to show its own doubt. Editors needed a way to set how strict the matching is and to record their own judgement on each clip.
Make the editor's words the interface, and keep the editor in control of the result.
Our Solution
Hygge delivered the MVP in about two months. It covers the whole loop: accounts, video in by upload or URL, and prompts in plain language, several per pass. AI processing shows its progress, and the results screen is built for review. Results come back as a carousel of candidate shorts and a gallery grid. A relevance slider lets the editor trade breadth for precision. Each kept clip gets a title, an audio track and a score, and the whole gallery exports as one archive. Clips stream through an API built for partial playback. The interface works on phones and desktops.
A complete small delivery: call, wireframe, scope estimate, design, build and QA.
How the AI Video Clipping Solves It
Each card answers one problem above.
Prompts Do the Scrubbing
The editor describes the moments, and the AI scans the footage for them.
Matches on What Was Asked
Several prompts in one pass find the kinds of moment the editor named.
A Slider and the Editor's Score
The editor sets how strict the matching is and scores each kept clip.
Progress the Editor Can See
A progress view shows the video is being worked on during the wait.
Keep or Drop From a Phone
Candidates come in a carousel that works on phones and desktops.
